FAQ
Questions, answered.
- What's the difference between the app and the studio service?
- The app is self-serve: you generate on-brand product imagery yourself, every frame label-verified, and only pay for the ones you keep. The studio service is done-for-you: we build the site and shoot the full campaign. Same craft, two ways to get it.
- What do I pay for?
- Only frames you keep. Generating is free within your plan's monthly allowance, and passing a frame or a frame that fails our label check costs nothing. Keeping a frame (to unlock its clean, un-watermarked image) costs 20 credits; you start with 8 free generations and enough credits to keep up to 7.
- What is label-verification?
- Before a frame reaches you it's OCR-checked against your real product label to catch corrupted or warped text. It's an automated check, not a guarantee — always give a frame a look before you keep it. If a label ever slips through, tell us and we'll re-shoot it free.
- What's a product soul?
- A trained identity reference for one SKU: train it once from a few real photos so your shoots stay consistent with the real bottle, label, and proportions.
- Do you store my product images?
- Your reference images and approved frames live in your private studio storage. They're used to generate and verify your imagery, nothing else.
- How is the studio service different from hiring a photographer and a web agency separately?
- One team builds the site and shoots the imagery that fills it. No briefing the same brand twice, no handoff between vendors, no mismatched aesthetic between your hero shot and your homepage. One direction, one bill.
- Do you do AI imagery, traditional photography, or both?
- Both, deliberately. Some shots are studio-photographed, some are generated and finished in post. We pick the right tool per shot, and every frame is label-checked before it reaches you.
- Who's behind Aedo?
- A Sydney studio working with Australian DTC brands. We built the studio's craft into the app so any brand can run it, and we still take bespoke work for brands that want it done for them.
